• Children need nurturing in six basic areas:
Affective – the emotional inner self.
Cognitive – “brain power.”
Creative – artistic, musical, rhythmic development.
Language – language usage and vocabulary development.
Physical – fine and gross motor development, large and small muscle coordination.
Social – social skill development.

• Every child is individual and unique. Development is influenced greatly by opportunity, experience, personality and ability. We never expect children to progress at the same rate, and we never measure their progress against one another.

• Children learn in leaps, plateaus and regressions. A task mastered today may be forgotten tomorrow. We look for long term success, and repetition allows for learning in new ways and re-practicing past skill development.

• Our skilled teachers provide a nurturing and stimulating environment which is fun and challenging for the children.

• We provide a balanced program of interaction with friends in both teacher-directed and child-directed experiences.
